A self initiated illustration project, “What I Wore: April 2012”, chronicles my daily outfits for the month of April.
Reaching back to my fashion blogging roots, I decided to challenge my dedication to illustration and fashion by creating quick 5 minute sketches of what I wore everyday for the course of a year. Each month I experimented using different media and styles. What started off as a fun routine has now become my own illustrated self-history of who I used to be, who I am now, and who I’ve yet to become.
In April, I wanted to experiment with lines, especially thin lines. There’s something very relaxing about drawing with a super thin pen – like you have so much control. That’s basically it.
